Programmes & Projects available:
(1) Ad-hoc Project
Have you always wanted to share your love for a hobby with someone and make his or her day? Now here’s your chance! NUSPsyche invites you to plan a workshop or outing for the youths at SAMH YouthReach. Ideally, the workshop should promote healthy living and teach skills you think will enhance the wellbeing of youths (e.g. arts & craft, sports, cooking, music, personal grooming, computer skills etc.) Also, you can also share the knowledge you acquired from psychology class about mental wellness. If you are ready to take up the challenge, please do not hesitate to send us a proposal about your plans so that we can embark on it together! Of course, if you would like to find out more, please drop us an email and we will be glad to fill you in.
(2) Mentor Programme @ YouthReach
This is a pioneer programme that YouthReach has started on. As a mentor (aged 21 and above) , you will be spending time regularly and have a 1:1 contact with the youth attached to you for at least 1 hour weekly for 1 year. If you would like reach out and make a difference to somebody’s life, please consider taking up this mentorship.
(3) Regularly volunteering
If you like interacting with youths, you can sign up as a regular volunteer at YouthReach. Regular volunteering involves the running of sessions (arts & craft, sports, cooking, music, drama, tuition, computer etc) on a regular basis.
