Ever wondered what it would be like to work in IMH? Get a first taste of the IMH environment by VOLUNTEERING at a ward.
Organized by NVAC, the volunteer group will meet every Saturday from 1500 to 1730 to organize activities, and chat with the patients in an all-male ward. Most of the patients are in their mid 30s to 40s, and if you are worried about your safety, don’t be! Although most of the patients suffer from schizophrenia, most of them look and behave just like us. =)
Volunteering with NVAC does not require long-term commitment, and you are quite free to join the group whenever you are available.
If you are still uncertain, why not just pop by one Saturday and see for yourself if this project is for you! =D
