WHO WE ARE

The NUS Psychology Society (established in 2006) caters to the welfare and academic needs of Psychology students. The society runs on the following main objectives:

– To provide guidance for current and prospective students on the study of Psychology and future careers; and

– To foster a greater awareness of mental health amongst the student body

WHAT WE DO

We provide support for current psychology students on two fronts; academics and welfare.

Academics:

– Academic support on modules through compilation of module reviews

– Career/Internship related guides for psychology majors

– Career sharing sessions & Site Visits to places of work

Welfare:

– Building a sense of community through NUS Psychology merchandise and community engagement

– Catering to our community’s well-being through Psychology Appreciation Week (PAW), with welfare pack distributions

We also provide support for prospective psychology students, through:

– Bonding new batches of freshies through our annual Psychology Camp

– Answering academic related queries on the CHS curriculum and the psychology major
