Interested in learning more about what a career in social services entails? We have an opportunity just for you!
The National Council of Social Services (NCSS) is offering internships for undergraduates under their Sector Internship Programme (SIP). The Sector Internship Programme aims to provide an enriching experience for students in discovering Social Service professions as a career choice. Each internship placement is meaningfully crafted in partnership with a social service organisation. Besides first-hand experience, the programme also provides students greater clarity on the various social service professions and the numerous education pathways on offer. Check out the poster to find out more!
Interns may be involved in short term project work, research studies, and programme design or as per the job description of the listing. Students may also have the opportunity to create meaningful direct engagements with the beneficiaries.
Internship offers are available to undergraduates who are looking for vacation internship (May to August) or part-time internships during the coming academic term, subjected to availability in the social service organisations. The internship period is usually from 6 weeks to 3 months, under the organisation’s discretion.
If you are interested, please submit your completed application form along with supporting documents (CV, copy of NRIC and testimonials) to firstname.lastname@example.org, at least 2 months before your available date.
